Joseph Borders, MS, is a Research Associate and Project Manager with ShadowBox LLC working in the areas of cognitive and human factors psychology in the petrochemical, military, and law enforcement domains. His research interests include expertise, mental model development, and cognitive skills training. Joseph holds a BA in Psychology from Wittenberg University and a MS in Human Factors Psychology from Wright State University, where he is currently working on his dissertation studying visual expertise. His hobbies include traveling with his wife, visiting new restaurants and breweries, and running.
